What Works: Programs and Interventions that May Influence Student Absenteeism

Child Trends has developed several What Works series based on rigorously studied programs and interventions to identify what works, what doesn't work and what are some "best bets" (or promising practices). Two series for youth (What Works: American Teens and What Works: Programs for Teens) and one series for young children (What Works: School Readiness) have been developed.
